Please mark your calendars now to join the FABB Board of Directors for a special planning meeting on Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Mosaic Community Space in Merrifield. This special meeting is being held in lieu of our usual monthly meeting for January.
The FABB Board is completing a 2019 Work Plan to guide our efforts and allocation of resources in a number of areas. These include advocacy for better bicycling infrastructure & multimodal transportation options, bicycle education and ridership, more inclusive outreach to all Fairfax County communities, and partnerships with regional organizations, government, and the private sector.
Before finalizing the plan, the Board needs input from our members, supporters, and others interested in better bicycling on the prioritization of goals and the means devoted to them. Please join us and help shape FABB’s work by sharing your knowledge of local needs and opportunities.
The Mosaic Community Room is at 2985 District Avenue, Suite 100, in Merrifield and the entrance is around the backside of the building on Merrifield Cinema Drive.
