Laurel Hill Park
Mountain biking is about adventure, exploration, fitness, and fun—and it’s an important part of bicycling culture here in Fairfax County. That’s why FABB encourages everyone to celebrate International Ride MTB Day on Monday, July 20, by getting out on the trails and enjoying our region’s outstanding off-road riding opportunities.
While much of FABB’s advocacy focuses on making it safer and easier to ride for transportation, we strongly support all forms of bicycling. Recreational riding introduces many people to cycling, helps riders develop confidence and bike-handling skills, and inspires a lifelong love of riding. Whether you ride to work, to the grocery store, on paved trails, or on technical singletrack, you’re part of the cycling community that FABB works to support.
International Ride MTB Day is the perfect excuse to dust off your mountain bike, invite a friend, and explore a favorite trail—or discover one that’s new to you. Join riders around the world and share your adventure using #RideMTBDay.
