Screen Shot 2020 09 26 at 7.15.56 PM 300x298 - Franconia-Springfield Parkway Shared Use PathThe Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) are accepting comments regarding a proposed limited access control change for Fairfax County’s planned shared-use path along Franconia-Springfield Parkway (Route 289) from Spring Village Drive to Ridgeway Drive. The change will allow for the construction of a ten-foot wide asphalt trail that will connect to the existing shared-use path at the northeast corner of the intersection.
