Plan now to join the Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail and other local lovers of the trail to commemorate its 50th anniversary. #MVT50 will celebrate a truly monumental trail on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with guest speakers and family-friendly activities.

The event will be held at Daingerfield Island, 1 Marina Drive, in Alexandria and there will be booths featuring the National Park Service ParkMobile, Bike Arlington, Capital Bikeshare, Go Alex, Capital Trails Coalition, East Coast Greenway, Rosslyn Business Improvement District, Friends of Dyke Marsh and more.
