One of Fairfax County’s most popular community bike rides is almost here—and we need your help to make it a success.
The Sixth Annual Tour de Hunter Mill (TdHM) rolls out on Sunday, May 3, 2026, bringing together riders of all ages and abilities for a fun, scenic, and welcoming day on two wheels. Proudly supported by FABB, this ride is about more than miles—it’s about community, connection, and celebrating the best of bicycling in Fairfax County.
Why TdHM Is Special
The Tour de Hunter Mill is designed for everyone—from first-time riders to seasoned cyclists. Each year features refreshed routes that highlight different parts of the district, so no two rides are ever the same.
This year’s route will take riders through:
- Vienna’s bike-friendly neighborhoods and Town Green
- The I-66 Parallel Trail and Route 7 Trail
- Connections into Tysons Corner
- Scenic roads leading to the iconic Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts
Along the way, riders will experience parks, green spaces, and local landmarks that showcase why Fairfax is such a great place to bike. Register here to join the ride.
We Need You!
Events like this don’t happen without volunteers—and that’s where you come in. Whether you’re an experienced rider or just want to support the biking community, there’s a role for you.
We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
- Ride Marshals to help guide and support riders on the short or long routes.
- Route Flaggers to direct riders safely along the course at key turns and intersections.
- Pit Stop Volunteers to keep riders fueled, hydrated, and encouraged along the way.
- Sign Setup & Pickup Crew to help place and collect route signage (cargo e-bike riders especially welcome!).
Join the Team
Volunteering for TdHM is a great way to give back, meet fellow bike enthusiasts, and play a direct role in making Fairfax County more bike-friendly. Plus, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to put on one of the region’s favorite rides.
Sign up here to volunteer today and be part of something special.
Let’s work together to make the 2026 Tour de Hunter Mill the best one yet.
