Bike to Work Day (BTWD) 2025 is just around the corner—and this year is extra special. As FABB celebrates its 20th anniversary, we’re working hard to make this year’s event one of our biggest and best yet. And we need your help to make it happen!
FABB is proud to serve as the lead organization at the Burke Virginia Rail Express (VRE) Pit Stop, where we’ll be joined by a member of the VRE engineering team and supported by Trek Springfield, who will be offering free bike checks for participants.
But that’s just one stop! FABB volunteers will also be out in force at pit stops across Fairfax County, welcoming riders, handing out swag and treats, and spreading the word about our work to make biking better in Fairfax.
We’re Looking for Volunteers!
This year, we’re aiming to expand our presence at more pit stops than ever before. To do that, we need friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us:
- Greet riders and distribute FABB goodies
- Share information about FABB’s mission and advocacy
- Help promote safer, more bike-friendly communities
Whether you’d like to support riders at the Burke VRE stop or another location near you, we’d love to have you join us.
BTWD Planning Meetings
Our BTWD subcommittee will be hosting short virtual meetings to finalize plans and organize volunteers. Please join us if you’re interested in helping out!

- Early May (Date TBD)
We’ll keep the meetings short as we get everyone looped into the planning.
