Proposed Parcher Avenue Bike Lanes.

Plan now to Speak Up! at the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) virtual public meeting on proposed paving and restriping changes in the Dranesville District on Thursday, March 25, at 7:00 pm.

FABB encourages local riders to take advantage of this opportunity to show your support new bike facilities. Help VDOT improve its summer repaving program by offering your ideas on how best to place and protect bike lanes.

The proposals for Dranesvile District this year include new biking facilities for:

  • Parcher Avenue from Centreville Road to Maleady Drive: Adds bike lanes while maintaining on-street parking.
