The Tysons Community Alliance (TCA) is inviting bicyclists, walkers, and rollers of all ages and abilities to get outside and explore Tysons during its 3rd Annual Tysons Trek & Treat Fall Challenge, running October 2 through November 1, 2026.

The free challenge turns five walkable and bike-friendly routes around Tysons into an interactive adventure, with participants checking in at designated stops, earning points, and winning prizes along the way. There’s no app to download—just register for a pass, receive it by email or text, save it to your phone, and start exploring.

And there are plenty of reasons to register early. Sign up before October 2 and you’ll be entered in an Early Bird raffle for a $150 Experience Tysons e-gift card. Register and complete at least one check-in by October 10 and you’ll also receive an “I trekked Tysons” T-shirt.

Register here today!

As you explore, points earned across all five routes add up toward prizes. Reach 2,500 points to unlock a first-tier reward and 5,000 points for a top-tier prize, with choices including backpacks, packable blankets, wireless earbuds, Bluetooth speakers, and Metro cards. Every additional 250 points beyond your redeemed prize tier earns another raffle entry for one of three $100 Experience Tysons gift cards.

There’s also some friendly competition for those who want to rack up the miles. The top three challengers will receive $300, $250, and $200 Experience Tysons gift cards, respectively, in addition to the other prizes they earn. The top finisher also claims the title of Tysons Trailblazer.

FABB encourages local riders to take advantage of the challenge as a fun way to explore Tysons by bike, discover some new connections and destinations, and demonstrate that bicycling and other forms of active transportation are an important part of getting around this rapidly changing part of Fairfax County.

The challenge begins October 2, so register now, grab your bike, and start planning your Tysons trek!
