FABB is passing along word–so please share–about an upcoming temporary closure and detour on the W&OD trail.
What: A portion of the Washington and Old Dominion Trail will be closed for the installation of a new pedestrian bridge linking the Reston Town Center and Reston Town Center Metro Station. The less than 1.0-mile detour along Crescent Park Drive and Bluemont Way will begin between a point just west of Town Center Parkway and just east of Reston Parkway. Temporary detour signage will be installed for trail users during the work period.
When: The closure and detour will occur on Friday, July 26 through Sunday, July 28.
Where: Washington and Old Dominion Trail near Reston Town Center (refer to map).
