Bike to Work Day is almost here—Friday, May 15—and we still need your help.
Across Fairfax County, more than 20 Bike to Work Day pit stops are getting ready to welcome riders. But right now, many of these locations still don’t have a FABB volunteer on site.
Bike to Work Day is one of the most visible biking events of the year. Thousands of riders—many trying biking for the first time—will be out on our roads and trails.
If FABB isn’t there, we miss a critical opportunity to:
- Encourage new riders to keep biking
- Show support for safer streets and better bike infrastructure
- Connect with community members who care about active transportation
Your presence and that of other volunteers make a difference.
We urgently need volunteers at locations across the county, including:
- Alexandria
- Chantilly
- Springfield
It’s easy to help. We just need volunteers who will:
- Spend a couple of hours at a pit stop
- Greet riders and share FABB’s work
- Be a visible voice for better biking in Fairfax County
That’s it—and it matters.
This is your chance to help shape the future of biking in Fairfax County—right when it matters most.
