FABB is happy to encourage local riders of faith to join the 4th annual Bike & Walk to Worship Week, happening from August 5-11, 2024! This event offers a wonderful opportunity for congregations across Fairfax County to come together, celebrate, and engage in meaningful activities that promote health, community, and sustainability.

This event is perfect for families and friends to spend quality time together. Whether you’re organizing a group ride to morning prayers or hosting a prayer walk, these activities foster connection and create lasting memories.

Engaging in physical activity like biking or walking enhances personal health and well-being. Strong, healthy members contribute to vibrant congregations.

By choosing to bike or walk, you are being a good steward of our planet. Fewer cars on the road mean reduced emissions and a healthier environment for all. Plus, it helps alleviate overcrowded parking lots at your place of worship!

If you’re inspired to champion biking and walking in your congregation, we and our friends at Fairfax County’s Active Transportation Program would like to help. Reach out to FABB at [email protected] or the county at [email protected].
