Looking to make a difference for safer biking and better active transportation in Fairfax County? Plan now to join FABB for our first virtual community meeting of 2026 on Tuesday, April 8, at 7 p.m.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in bicycling, walking, and improving local infrastructure to learn how to turn ideas into action.

Learn How Fairfax Works—and How to Influence It

We’re excited to welcome FABB co-founder and outgoing board member Bruce Wright, who will provide a practical overview of Fairfax County’s government structure and highlight the key decision-makers who shape transportation policy and funding.

Bruce will then walk through real-world advocacy tools and answer your questions, including how to:

  • Report road and trail hazards
  • Request new bike lanes, trails, or connections
  • Advocate for bike parking and other improvements
  • Navigate county systems to get results

Whether you’re new to advocacy or already engaged, this session will give you useful insights and tools you can put to work right away.
