The Fairfax County Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, on plans to begin a study on intersection improvements at Lorton Road and Silverbrook Road. The goal of the study is to increase capacity while addressing safety and operational concerns, as well as bicycle and pedestrian needs.
The meeting will be held at the South County Middle School Cafeteria, 8700 Laurel Crest Drive in Lorton. It begins with an Open House at 6:30 pm followed by a presentation and question and answer session at 7:00 pm.
