• VDOT presentation on 2020 Mason District paving and restriping plans now available for review.
  • Comment period closes on March 17, so show your support and share your ideas now!

If you were unable to make it to the Mason District paving and restriping meeting on March 3, you can still provide comments on the proposed new bike lanes until March 17.

The Virginia Department of Transportation and the Fairfax County Department of Transportation have made the formal presentation from the meeting available here.

The presentation provides details on the proposed addition of bike lanes and sharrows to sections of Carlin Springs Road, Scoville Street, Lacy Boulevard, Lafayette Village Drive, Maple Place, and Markham Street as well as buffered bike lanes along South George Mason Drive between Seminary Road and Leesburg Pike. If you bike in these areas, please check it out and share your ideas.

Again, the comment period for Mason District paving and restriping projects closes March 17. Send in your comments here now.
