Thank you to everyone who joined us for the recent FABB meeting with the Fairfax County Department of Transportation staff! Your participation and interest in improving bike facilities in our community are what make these meetings so valuable.

For those who couldn’t attend, we’ve got you covered. You can watch the full recording of the meeting on YouTube. Additionally, the presentations are available for download:

FCDOT is seeking your thoughts and welcomes ideas on which trends in Transportation should be considered for the planning update and what you see as near- and long-term goals and objectives for the transportation system:

  • For the bicycle and pedestrian facilities?
  • Promoting more facilities in mixed use areas and projects, at transit centers?
  • Updating or maintaining current transportation policies?

We extend our sincere thanks to Nicole Wynands of the Active Transportation Program and Robert Pikora of the Transportation Planning Division for their insightful presentations and the time they dedicated to our cause.

FABB remains committed to advocating for safe, connected bike facilities across Fairfax County. If you haven’t already, consider joining us in our mission. Your support is vital to the success of our education, skill-building, and social bike events.

Join FABB today and be a part of the change.
