Please join us on Wednesday, July 15, for the second in a three-part series of webinars on active transportation in Northern Virginia. The webinar panel includes Aaron Goldbeck manages Capital Bikeshare in the District for the DC Department of Transportation, Paul Gilbert, the Executive Director for NOVA Parks, and David Loss, the moderator and Fairfax County’s Shared Micromobility Coordinator.

The panel will be discussion the impact of the surge in biking and walking during the COVID-19 pandemic as more people have sought to get outside for exercise and to travel places while maintaining safe physical distances. The panel and participants will explore what that growth has meant for our local trails and bikeshare system, what is being done to keep people safe, and the opportunities it presents to advance active transportation in our region.

The one-hour event starts at noon on July 15 and is free. You can register here.

FABB is proud to be working with the City of Fairfax, Fairfax County, George Mason University, and the Coalition for Smarter Growth in developing these webinars.
