FABB is working with the Tysons Community Alliance to hold the inaugural Tysons Cherry Blossom Family Bike Ride. The free ride occurs at the Tysons Corner Center mall on Sunday, April 2, starting at 8:00 am.
This free event welcomes riders of all ages and skill levels to pedal along a 1.3 mile route around Tysons Corner Center. The bike ride is approximately 15 minutes long and police with lead groups of riders along the route every 30 minutes starting at 8:15 a.m. with the last ride at 9:45 a.m.
Registration for the ride is now open on Eventbrite.
There will be a bike decorating station where riders can customize their bicycles with various decorations such as streamers and stickers. In addition, there will be free bike repairs, a DJ, food and beverages, and much more.
To ensure the safety of bike ride participants, all cyclists must wear a helmet and ride marshals will be present to help as needed.
Although this year’s ride will remain at the mall, plans for future years anticipated expanding to other parts of Tysons as the area’s network of streets and trails get built.
Mark your calendars now and plan on joining us for a great event!
