Join with thousands of other riders across the Metro area on Friday, May 19, to celebrate Bike to Work Day (BTWD). FABB members will be out in force for this rain or shine event, either riding to their job or encouraging others to try commuting by bike.

Registration for BTWD 2023 is already open here and is free. In addition, you get a free t-shirt (while supplies last) and can use BTWD pit stops during your morning commute. Registered participants also are eligible for a raffle to win a bike or many other prizes.

You have your choice of more than 100 Bike to Work Day pit stops all over the region, and FABB will have representatives at many of the 28 pit stops in Fairfax County. There probably is one near your home or place of work.

Besides registering, take some time before mid-May to prepare for Bike to Work Day. Plan your route and take a test ride on a weekend.  Make sure to have your bike serviced at a bike shop and all necessary repairs made well in advance.
