Spring riding season is here—and one of Fairfax County’s most popular community rides is just around the corner.
Supervisor Walter Alcorn invites riders of all ages and abilities to join the Sixth Annual Tour de Hunter Mill on Sunday, May 3, 2026—a scenic, welcoming ride through some of the most bike-friendly parts of the Hunter Mill District. FABB is proud to support this event and encourages everyone to sign up and take part.
Explore Hunter Mill on Two Wheels
The Tour de Hunter Mill (TdHM) is designed for everyone—from first-time riders to seasoned cyclists. Each year’s routes are refreshed to showcase different parts of the district, offering a unique riding experience every time.
This year’s ride will take participants through:
- Vienna’s bike-friendly neighborhoods and Town Green
- The I-66 Parallel Trail and Route 7 Trail
- Connections into Tysons Corner
- Scenic routes leading to the iconic Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts
You’ll pass parks, green spaces, and local landmarks—making this as much a community experience as a ride.
Choose Your Route
Riders can select from two options:
- Short Route: ~10 miles
- Long Route: ~19 miles
Both routes start and end at: Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Ct, Vienna, VA. You’re encouraged to bike to the start, but free parking is available on-site.
A rest stop will be available along the routes, and ride marshals and police officers will be present to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. However, this is a ride, not a race—there will be no road closures, so riders should follow normal traffic rules.
