Rolling Road Widening, Bike Improvements
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is planning to widen Rolling Road from two to four lanes between Viola Street and Old Keene Mill Road in an effort to reduce congestion and improve safety. The project includes adding a shared-use path on one side of Rolling Road and a sidewalk on the other.
VDOT is held a design public hearing in February 2018. You can also review project information at the VDOT project website.
