Franconia riders—this one’s for you! The 2025 Paving and Restriping Program rolls on with a virtual meeting on Thursday, April 10 at 7 p.m., and this time there’s a solid list of proposed bike lanes on the table.
FCDOT and VDOT will present paving and restriping plans, including potential crosswalk upgrades and bike lanes at the following locations:
- Vantage Dr (South Kings Hwy → Rolling Stone Way)
- Bedrock Rd (Green Springs Ln → Harrison Ln)
- Rolling Stone Way (Vantage Dr → Bedrock Rd)
- Kingstowne Commons Drive
If you live, ride, or walk near these areas, this is your chance to make these lanes happen. FABB strongly supports these proposals, but it’s essential that local riders speak up to ensure they don’t get watered down—or dropped entirely.
