• In 2026, let’s start a movement—one ride at a time.

FABB understands that 2025 has not been an easy year. Not everyone is in a place to donate. Not everyone can volunteer. But everyone can ride.

As part of FABB’s 2025 fundraising appeal, we want to remind you that bicycling itself is an act of optimism, of freedom, and of community. It’s good for your health, your spirit, and your neighborhood. And each time you choose to ride instead of drive, you’re helping build the kind of future FABB has been working toward for 20 years: a safer, greener, more connected Fairfax County.

So, for the coming year, we invite you to do something simple—but powerful: Go for a ride.

Ride to the store, the park, the library, or just around the block.

Even better, bring a loved one along. Teach a kid. Call a friend. Reconnect.

No bike? No problem.

Rent one. Borrow one. Try a Capital Bikeshare bike. You don’t need fancy gear to enjoy the ride.

Haven’t learned yet?

There’s no better time. FABB will continue to offer classes in 2026 and we can help your find certified instructors in our area. It’s never too late.

Bicycling reminds us that change doesn’t have to be massive to be meaningful. A short ride can clear your head. A regular habit can reshape a life. A community of riders can transform a county.

Every pedal is a revolution. Join the movement.
