Bikes for the World is providing a great opportunity for you to donate your old unused bikes, bike parts, tubes, tires, and bike accessories to help people across the United States and around the world. Bikes for the World collects and redistributes new and used bikes to provide people a means of transportation that allows them to gain employment, get an education, and receive health care. This assistance truly can help change and improve lives.
The donation event will be on Friday, March 21, from 9 am to 1 pm at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church at 1700 Wainwright Drive in Reston. A $10 donation per bike will help Bikes for the World deliver your bicycle to a new owner who will be empowered to earn more, learn more, or receive better health services. Tax receipts will be given for all bike donations and financial contributions.
