On February 16, 2007, FABB posted its first blog on its website. Founding member Bruce Wright used the post to announce that, as part of its mission to improve bicycling conditions in Fairfax County, FABB would be blogging on breaking news, items of interest that might not be on the website, and other news. He also announced a new section on the Cyclists Resources page on bike commuting with links to a MWCOG publication and WABA’s Bike to Work Day page.

Over the past twelve years FABB has posted approximately 2,800 blogs, fulfilling the original vision to keep area bikers informed and motivated to make bicycling better in Fairfax County.

FABB now has a new website and new social media outlets to help spread the word on breaking news and other items of interest. We hope you find them interesting and useful. We also welcome contributions and suggestions for the FABB blog. In addition, if you are looking for a volunteer opportunity, FABB can always use help with feeding and maintaining our website and social media.  Interested? Send us a note at [email protected].
