Please plan on joining us for a FABB meeting on Wednesday, February 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Oakton Library to hear a presentation from Sally Smallwood, the county’s Safe Routes to School Coordinator. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the program and all it does to encourage walking and biking to school.

Sally will provide information on upcoming special events and ongoing programs to teach students to ride and to do basic bicycle maintenance. Attendees will get to hear about SRTS curriculum training for Fairfax County Public School teachers as well as volunteer opportunities to help with training and maintenance at the schools.

We also will be joined by Fairfax County’s Bike Program Manager, Nicole Wynands. Nicole will provide an update on bike-related activities in Fairfax and information on upcoming meetings on the 2020 paving and restriping program.

FABB’s meeting are always informative with good discussion, good energy, and good company. If you have never attended, come check us out!

Oakton Library is at 10304 Lynnhaven Place in Oakton.
