Almost six years ago, on October 21, 2016, Fairfax County held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the first Capital Bikeshare stations in the county. Join us for a virtual FABB meeting on October 19 to celebrate bike sharing as a transportation option.

The first 15 CaBi stations in 2016 were located in Reston and Tysons. The system has since expanded to a total of 54 stations with several new ones planned in the near future in Vienna and Merrifield.

Zack DesJardins of the Fairfax County Department of Transportation will address our virtual meeting and provide an overview of the Capital Bikeshare system and discuss these expansion plans.

In addition, we will be talking about the FABB Board of Directors upcoming annual strategic planning session. The Board wants hear your thoughts about possible goals for FABB in the coming years.

The meeting will start at 7:00 pm and you can register in advance here.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

We look forward to seeing you there!
