FABB is proud to be co-hosting with the Audubon Society an upcoming Conservation Cafe event focused on the expansion of environmental and smart-growth organizations across Northern Virginia. The event is on Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Providence Community Center, 3001 Vaden Drive in Fairfax and will feature a panel discussion on the organization’s 2020 priorities and plans to collaborate to advance healthy community activities and policies.

The panel will feature FABB’s own Executive Director, Matt Roberts, and our President, Sonya Breehey, in her role as Northern Virginia Advocacy Manager for the Coalition for Smarter Growth. Other speakers will be Renee Grebe of the Audubon Naturalist Society, Bridget McGregor from the Virginia Conservation League of Voters, and Rebecca of the Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions. Elenor Hodges, the Executive Director of EcoAction Arlington, will serve as moderator for the panel.

Plan now to join in the panel discussion and speak up for the issues that you want to see addressed in Northern Version efforts to build healthy and sustainable communities. If you need added incentive to attend, snacks and refreshments will be available.

You can find more information on sign up for the event here.
