FABB is again encouraging Fairfax County riders to participate in this year’s Bike Your Park Day on September 25! It’s a great opportunity to join with friends, family, and others to explore Fairfax County parks by bike.
You can register here to lead a ride and share your experience, skills, and enjoyment with others or you can join an existing ride. Registrants also can choose to make their ride private. In all cases, you’ll be entered to win a Co-Motion Americano bike from Adventure Cycling. The first 250 people who register to lead a trip will also get a Bike Your Park Day patch and sticker in the mail.
This event is for people of all ages and can range from a challenging century ride to a mile on a bike path with your family. Participants can start at their house and ride to the park or they can drive to the park and start their ride there. The only real requirement is that the registered ride must involve a park or public land.
