Part of the plan involved reviews of bicycle and pedestrian crashes in the county.

Join FABB this month for our virtual meeting featuring Lauren Delmare from the Fairfax County Department of Transportation. We will gather via Zoom on Wednesday, August 18, at 7:00 pm.

Lauren will present an overview of the Safe Streets for All program. In a year when Fairfax County has experienced two bicyclist fatalities and nine pedestrian deaths, Safe Streets for All aims to reduce these senseless bicyclist and pedestrian tragedies. It is a stand-alone initiative but also is part of Phase I of the ActiveFairfax Transportation Plan.

Lauren’s presentation will bring us up to date on where the County is in the rollout of the initiative and will provide time to answer questions from meeting participants.

To participate, please register in advance here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Please join us and show your support for Safe Streets for All!
