Did you miss the roll out of the Capital Trails Coalition Impact Report? The report quantifies the economic, health, and environmental benefits of our region’s 881-mile multi-use trail network. For example, it found that, among many impacts, a complete trail network could have $2 billion in total economic impact over 25 years while preventing 19,580 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually with an attendant $517 million in public health savings every year.

You can learn more about the report findings and details on its methodology by downloading the white paper from the CTC website.

If you weren’t able to participate in the webinar on the Impact Report last month, you can view a video recording of the event here.
