Adventure Cycling is again partnering with the National Environmental Education Foundation to celebrate Bike Your Park Day this year!
FABB also is encouraging local riders to take advantage of this event on Saturday, September 24, 2022, to explore one or more of the many wonderful parks in Fairfax County.
You can take your own ride to and through a local park or, by registering with Adventure Cycling, you can join with thousands of other riders in showing support for parks and public lands. With Adventure Cycling, you can register to join an existing ride or to lead your own group ride. In return, you can get a 10% off code to use on bike gear and apparel at Adventure Cycling’s online store.
This year’s Bike Your Park Day also is celebrating National Public Lands Day and encouraging people to bike, learn about, and care for your parks and spaces! As you bike your park, riders are encouraged to think about how to recreate responsibly and leave no trace as they make use of public lands.
