Last Saturday, October 19, 2019, FABB was a proud partner with Mount Vernon District Supervisor Dan Storck and other sponsors of the 4th Annual Tour de Mount Vernon. Approximately 160 riders participated in the ride, which started at the historic Workhouse Arts Center and then visited a number of historical and other sites in the southern Mount Vernon District. This year’s event featured 20-mile and 32-mile rides that took participants by Occoquan and Pohick Regional Parks, Gunston Hall, Accotink Bay, and Fort Belvoir.

In addition to FABB, the Tour was supported and sponsored by the Office of Economic Initiatives, Fairfax County Department of Transportation and Bike Fairfax, Fairfax County Police Department, Spokes, Etc., Handy Bikes, and La Prima Catering. Some of the proceeds from the ride go to FABB to help us with our advocacy, and we want to express our appreciation to everyone who participated in and supported the ride.
