Our friends on the Alexandria Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) are having their next meeting on Monday, March 11, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Oswald Durant Arts Center at 1605 Cameron Street in Alexandria. The have a great program lined up and local riders interested in bicycling advocacy will want to attend to hear Champe Burnley, the President of the Virginia Bicycling Federation (VBF). Champe will talk about past, present and future statewide advocacy initiatives and engage attendees in a discussion of potential state-wide initiatives that VBF should focus on over the next two to three years.
