Plan now to join FABB and nine other organizations focused on bicycling, walking, and other elements of active transportation along with local government representatives for a major regional summit. The Accelerating Active Transportation in Northern Virginia summit will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and will be an all-day opportunity for collaboration and innovative thinking.

Join us to learn and share information on a wide variety of active transportation topics. Your participation is needed to work with other advocates to develop ideas to make active transportation more accessible and identify opportunities for changes in outreach and engagement, safety engineering, and other areas needing improvement.

The summit will feature nearly two dozen speakers and presenters, including government officials, government and private transportation planners and engineers, and bicycle, pedestrian, safety, health, and other advocates. Sessions will cover active transportation topics such as the business case for active transportation, health and active transportation, youth education, data analytics, and others. Learn more about the summit here.

This virtual summit is free, and it takes only a minute to register here.
