Do you know an adult or child who would like to learn to bike? Then please pass along these opportunities.
The Reston Community Center and The Bike Lane are teaming up to offer a 4-hour Learn to Ride Class on Sunday, April 7, 2019. This class is for riders 13 and older who have never successfully ridden on 2 wheels. Bikes and helmets are provided.
The RCC also is offering two Youth Learn to Ride a Bicycle! classes on Sunday, April 14, and Sunday, May 5. The classes are for children who are 6 to 12-years-old who have never successfully ridden on 2 wheels before. The classes are four hours long and bikes and helmets are provided.
All classes use a two-step process taught by a gentle instructor, which provides the best possibility for success.
You can register for these classes at www.restoncommunitycenter.com. Go to MyRCC and put in the keyword “Bike”. The cost for the Youth Learn Ride Class is $30 for Reston Residents and $45 for Non Residents. For the adult Learn to Ride calls, the cost is $65 for Reston Residents, and $98 for Non Residents.
